POSTPONED. WE WILL BE RESCHEDULING THE FORUMS FOR A LATER DATE.
All members of the Barre community are invited to join with friends and neighbors on April 7th to discuss assets, challenges, and ideas for the future of Barre! Forums will be facilitated by the Vermont Council on Rural Development, a neutral facilitator of public process invited by City leadership to work on behalf of the community.
This is the first step in a process to identify opportunities, address critical community challenges, and connect to resources to move action priorities forward.
The forum sessions for discussion on the 7th will include: Transportation; Opportunities in the Face of Climate Change; Addressing Empty Buildings & Downtown Vitality; Aging in Barre; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Recreation, Arts & Culture; Substance Use Disorder; Housing & Homelessness; and Supporting Barre Students.
Attend the sessions most important to you and join in on the FREE Community Dinner at the Elks Lodge at 6pm. Pasta, salad, bread & desserts will be provided. Click HERE for the schedule of the day.
