Wheelock has hired a project team to help the town move toward its long-sought goal of allowing all citizens to fully utilize the Wheelock Town Hall meeting space and clerk’s office. Solving this problem has bedeviled the community for decades.
The town is among three communities to receive a state planning grant that’s only awarded to a few places every couple of years. It was announced Monday that Poultney, Bethel and Lyndon have been awarded Better Connections grants.
